The purpose of Surplus Property Online Auction Services Program is to provide the ability for Franklin County agencies to dispose of their County surplus items and to provide assistance to Franklin County cities, townships and villages in the disposal of their surplus by use of an internet auction.

Posted items are sold and removed from the supported agencies areas within 25 days. This program provides efficient, responsive, and fiscally sustainable Government Operations. By disposing of surplus items by internet auction the County and the cities, townships and villages reduce their costs for storage of surplus items and are able to generate income from those sales.

The Surplus Property Auction Program provides assistance to Franklin County agencies, cities, townships and villages in the disposal of their surplus property at no cost by use of an internet auction site.
